Retail Operations Assistant

Chococo, a leading artisan chocolate company, is looking for a Retail Operations Assistant to join our HQ team in Holton Heath. Established in Dorset in 2002, we are known for our fine fresh chocolates, brownies, and gelato, crafted with a strong ethical focus from responsibly sourced ingredients to plastic-free packaging. With over 132 national and international awards, we've been recognised as a pioneering British chocolatier by the national press.This role is a fantastic opportunity to support our Retail Operations Manager, Brand & Logistics team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our chocolate houses and play a key part in launching exciting new store locations from Autumn 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
Analyse sales and generate regular KPI reports by SKU and store from various data sources Support the Retail Operations Manager remotely and collaborate with team members on-site at HQ Manage and update our EPOS system - including pricing, promotions, and seasonal product availability Review store orders and liaise with the despatch team to identify and resolve discrepancies Communicate directly with store managers to ensure operational consistency Tackle day-to-day operational challenges as they arise Assist with the planning and rollout of new store openings in the UK and abroad
About You:
You have an analytical mind and enjoy working with data to support business decisions You're confident with IT systems, have experience with EPOS platforms, and can produce clear management reports Strong communication skills, written and verbal You have exceptional attention to detail and thrive in a fast-paced environment You're a proactive, enthusiastic team player who isn't afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in
The Role:
Permanent, full-time position Based at our HQ in Holton Heath (please note: this is not a remote role) Salary range: 30,000-35,000, dependent on experience
