We are excited to be able to increase the size of our experienced team as we venture into a new era of Community Pharmacy. We have a Full Time Position (44hours) available for an Experienced or Trainee Retail Pharmacy Assistant at our branch in Minehead, Somerset.

Hours are Monday - Friday, 9am - 6pm plus Saturday Mornings 9am - 1pm.

The branch is fully established and has an excellent, friendly team to support anyone wishing to start a new challenge. This is a consistent paced environment in a well established pharmacy in Minehead.

Pharmacy Experience is preferred but full training will be provided to ensure competency on our systems. Must be well presented, cheerful, well-mannered and punctual. You will need to have good IT skills, and have good organisational and time management skills. You will need to meet deadlines in terms of study. A full nationally recognised training package will be paid for and provided by the company if you do not have the qualifications needed.

This is a front of house, pharmacy counter assistant role. Duties include receiving, unpacking and putting away orders, greeting and serving patients, prescription filing, answering the phone, using a till, taking and placing orders, handing out prescription to patients, assisting the pharmacy team, using computers daily, along with studying and training. You will be expected to learn quickly on the job, and make notes.
