Job Description
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our shop floor team working in a busy Retail Environment. This job involves handling large volumes of heavy produce therefore a high degree of physical fitness is required.
Permanent contract will be offered only after a twelve week probation period.
FULL TIME and PART TIME hours available.
Morning, afternoon and evening shifts available.
Shop opening hours are Monday - Sunday 8am-10.30pm.
Role Responsibilities
*Awareness of customer needs and provide excellent customer services.
*Provide up to date advice on our product range, promotions and special offers.
*Maintain store cleanliness & hygiene standards.
*Unloading and unpacking deliveries.
*Adhere to store merchandising standards
*Till duties including cash handling, credit/debit card payment, lottery & paypoint transactions.
Essential Skills/Requirements
*One years experience in a similar retail setting.
*Excellent customer service skills.
*Ability to work as part of a team.
*Have a good work ethic and 'can do' attitude.
*Ability to act on own initiative.
*Good attendance and punctuality.
*Good numeracy & accuracy skills.
*Flexibility to work nights and weekends.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to 12.21 per hour
Work Location: In person
