Steve Bane Fabrics, a well-established family business with over 50 years of experience across Dorset, Somerset & Wiltshire, is looking for an enthusiastic and friendly Retail Sales Assistant to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. We offer a wide range of products, including fabrics, curtains, blinds, shutters, awnings, and much more. Our extensive selection caters to both DIY enthusiasts and those seeking professional home styling solutions.

About the Role:

We are looking for a motivated individual who is passionate about helping customers bring their design visions to life. While experience is always welcome, we prioritize a positive attitude and a genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service. Full training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing friendly and helpful customer service Assisting customers with fabric and product selections Processing sales transactions Maintaining store displays and ensuring a clean and organized store environment Answering customer inquiries (in-store and via phone/email) Keeping up-to-date with product knowledge

Ideal Candidate:

Passion for interior design and/or fashion Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Positive and enthusiastic attitude Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and reliability

Hours: (To be confirmed - Minimum Below)

3 days per week (minimum 16.5 hours) 5.5-hour shifts: either 9:00 AM - 2:30 PM or 11:30 AM - 5:00 PM
