Taste of Scotland Whisky Shop.

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintaining a well-organised store environment. This role requires strong communication skills, a friendly disposition, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced retail setting.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Provide knowledgeable advice on products and services to enhance the customer experience. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Maintain an organised and tidy sales floor, ensuring products are well-displayed. Handle transactions accurately using the till and process returns as necessary. Manage stock levels and assist with inventory management. Address customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.

Skills

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with customers. Bilingual or multilingual abilities are advantageous for communicating with a diverse clientele. Strong phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally. Proficient in basic maths for processing transactions accurately. Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy periods. Organisational skills to maintain a clean and orderly store environment.

Pay: 12.21-13.21 per hour
