Poets Interiors of Keswick

is an independently run , locally owned friendly small family business selling Gifts Lighting Collectable and Accessories.

This is a hands on job - we all muck in as required- most of the time you would be serving /talking with customers , using the till , helping with goods in (including occasional furniture) putting stock out ,arranging displays and helping with the everyday running of the store . An interest in interior design or collectables may be an advantage .

Full days currently 9.15am to 5.15 pm (Mon- Sat )

We open 7 days including Bank Holidays. We rota a month in advance and try to accommodate all staff .

We don't believe in the hard sell -just friendly conversation and a nice smile.

Our current rate of pay is :12.50 Hour (21 plus ) 10 .50 Hour (18-20) 9 Hour (under 18 )

Retails experience preferred but full training given .

28 days paid holidays - pro rata to days worked -pension.

Staff discounts of up to 30%

This position may suit an active semi retired person .
