Now is an exciting time to join Stringers' World, one of the UK's leading racket sports stores. We are looking for a full time Retail Sales Assistant to expand the retail team at our Brantham store.
Retail is vital for the success of our brand. Working in store you will be customer facing, ensuring that all our customers have an exceptional experience whilst shopping in our store. Confidence and enthusiasm are key.
This job role involves serving customers, answering the telephone, keeping stock tidy and all other general shop duties.
The ideal candidate should be computer literate, including Excel, as they would be using a computer on a daily basis.
The successful candidate will be taught to string rackets, as this skill may be required on occasion.
The candidate will be required to work Monday - Saturday 8.45am-5.15pm with an agreed day off in the week (not Saturday)
Some retail experience would be advantageous although not essential.
The successful candidate will need to have the determination and self-motivation to learn and the confidence to approach customers and generate sales.
Applicants with an interest in racket sports would be preferred but not a necessity.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: 10.00-13.00 per hour
