Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, providing exceptional customer service and creating a welcoming shopping environment. Your ability to engage with customers, understand their needs, and promote our products will be essential in driving sales and enhancing customer satisfaction.

HOURS AVAILABLE 2PM-6PM OR 10AM-6PM MONDAY TO FRIDAY NO WEEKENDS

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. Maintain a clean and organised sales floor, ensuring merchandise is well-displayed and replenished. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities while providing value to customers. Handle transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system, ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Answer customer inquiries with effective communication skills, demonstrating product knowledge and enthusiasm. Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and maintain a positive work environment. Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently during shifts. Adhere to company policies regarding phone etiquette when handling customer calls.

Experience

Previous experience in retail or sales is preferred but not essential; we welcome those eager to learn. Multilingual or bilingual skills, particularly in English and Spanish, are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers. Strong organisational skills to manage inventory and merchandising effectively. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and providing accurate change. A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.21-15.00 per hour
