We're recruiting for a

Part-Time Permanent Sales Assistant

to join the friendly team in our flagship Bowness town centre store. Available hours are up to to 20 per week. Flexibility on working days is required, as is the ability to work some weekends.

The hourly rate of pay for over 18's is 12.25 per hour (for 18 year olds it's 11.15 and for under 18's it's 9.05).

Ideal candidates will be sales focused, able to demonstrate an excellent record of face to face customer service in a retail environment and have great communication skills. Above all we love to recruit team members with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.

Full training will be offered on all aspects of the role, including on Lakeland Leather's fabulous products.

There's plenty of scope for progression for those Sales Assistants who can demonstrate they've got the skills and attitude to take the step up.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain store displays and ensure merchandise is organised and visually appealing. Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking products as needed. Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills to complete daily tasks efficiently. Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
