As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for assisting customers, maintaining the store's appearance, and driving sales through effective communication and upselling techniques.

Duties

Greet customers warmly and assist them in locating products. Provide knowledgeable information about products and services to enhance the customer experience. Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system. Maintain an organised and visually appealing store environment by restocking shelves and arranging displays. Engage in upselling techniques to maximise sales opportunities. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a professional manner. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and maintain high standards of customer service.

Skills

Proficiency in English is essential; multilingual or bilingual skills are advantageous. Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers and colleagues. Basic maths skills for processing transactions and handling cash accurately. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment. Organisational skills to maintain store displays and inventory efficiently. Phone etiquette for handling customer calls professionally.
