We are looking for someone to join our soon to be opened store in Southampton as Store Manager. The right candidate will train a team who provide exceptional customer service and promote Leisurelakesbikes.com.

Situated within the Go Outdoors store Leisurelakesbikes.com will now be supplying cycling enthusiasts in Southampton and the surrounding areas with the very best brands available in the UK today.

Applicants will want to get involved with the local cycling community and embrace their role within the family of bike shops that make up Leisurelakesbikes.com.

You will be required to work on the busy shop floor answering customers' questions and undertake general shop duties as well as managerial responsibilities. These include operating our workshop diary, EPOS till system, stock taking and speaking with manufacturers/suppliers.

We aim to treat everyone we come into contact with with respect and dignity. You will be expected to operate in a professional and courteous manner when dealing with all customers, colleagues and suppliers.

Duties

Lead and motivate a team of sales associates to achieve store objectives and enhance performance. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store presentation standards. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth and improve customer satisfaction. Monitor sales performance and analyse data to identify trends and areas for improvement. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations. Manage staff schedules, payroll, and performance reviews to foster a positive work environment. Engage with customers to build relationships, address concerns, and promote loyalty programmes.

Skills

Proven leadership abilities with experience in retail management. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and customers. Experience in supervising and managing teams in a retail environment. Ability to sell products effectively while providing exceptional customer service. Proficient in sales management techniques to drive performance results. Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
