Retail Store Supervisor Job Summary: The Retail Store Supervisor oversees the daily operations of the convenience store, ensuring smooth workflow, staff supervision, excellent customer service, and effective inventory control. This role involves leading the sales team, managing stock, handling customer issues, and supporting the Store Manager in achieving sales targets and operational goals. Key Responsibilities: Supervise daily store operations and ensure compliance with company policies. Lead, motivate, and support store staff to meet sales and customer service standards. Reporting to the Store manager and The directors. Handle staff scheduling, shift management, and attendance tracking. Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training new team members. Monitor sales performance and provide coaching for improvement. Ensure shelves are stocked, displays are organized, and store cleanliness is maintained. Manage inventory levels, place orders, and oversee stock receiving. Resolve customer complaints and handle escalated service issues professionally. Oversee cash handling procedures, including till reconciliations and deposits. Enforce health and safety regulations within the store. Prepare daily sales and operational reports as needed. Required Skills & Qualifications: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication and customer service abilities. Good understanding of retail sales operations. Basic math and cash-handling proficiency. Organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Experience: 1-2 years of supervisory or team leader experience in retail, preferably in convenience stores or grocery sectors. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods. Light to moderate lifting (up to 20 kg).
