Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Retail Store Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our retail store at Watford . The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. You will be responsible for managing team performance, driving sales, and ensuring the store is well-organised and efficiently run.

Duties

Supervise and manage store staff, providing guidance and support to ensure high levels of performance. Implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets while maintaining excellent customer service. Oversee daily operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining store standards. Conduct regular training sessions for staff on product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service best practices. Handle administrative tasks such as scheduling and reporting on sales performance. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration among staff members. Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to ensure a satisfactory shopping experience. Maintain effective phone etiquette when communicating with customers and suppliers. Inventory: Maintaining inventory levels, ordering new stock, and taking inventory of goods for sale. Store maintenance: Ensuring the store is clean and orderly, and that merchandise is displayed properly. Sales: Achieving sales targets, documenting and reporting sales information, and developing marketing strategies. Budget: Managing the budget and ensuring resources are allocated.properlyoProcedures: Implementing and maintaining procedures to prevent theft and wastage. Qualifications

Proven experience in retail management or a supervisory role within a retail environment. Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Proficient in sales management techniques with a track record of achieving sales goals. Strong administrative skills for managing store operations efficiently. Multilingual abilities are advantageous for serving diverse customer needs.
