We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Retrofit Assessor, DEA - Trainee. Duties
Assist in conducting assessments of residential buildings to determine retrofit potential and energy efficiency improvements.
Support the collection and analysis of data related to building specifications, energy consumption, and retrofit options.
Contribute to preparing detailed reports outlining recommended retrofit measures, including cost estimates and expected savings.
Collaborate with senior assessors to ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and measurements as required during assessment processes.
Maintain accurate records of assessments, findings, and recommendations in organisational databases.
Support project management activities related to retrofit projects, including scheduling and documentation.
Requirements
A keen interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, or environmental initiatives.
Strong organisational skills with an ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Basic understanding of construction or building systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
Experience or familiarity with cost control principles is desirable to support budget-conscious assessments.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with attention to detail.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a professional environment.
Willingness to learn new skills and undertake training related to retrofit assessment procedures.
