Overview

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented Retrofit Assessor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating existing buildings and systems to identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements and cost-effective retrofitting solutions. This role is crucial in helping clients reduce their energy consumption and improve the sustainability of their properties. This is an office based role, reviewing surveys, modelling and costing the projects for retrofit installations.

Duties

Conduct comprehensive assessment reviewes in our office, of buildings to evaluate energy performance and identify areas for improvement. Prepare detailed reports outlining findings, recommendations, and potential cost savings associated with retrofitting measures. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions that align with their goals. Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and regulations related to energy efficiency and retrofitting. Assist in the development of project plans, including timelines and budgets, ensuring effective cost control throughout the process. Provide guidance on best practices for implementing recommended retrofitting measures.

Requirements

Proven experience in building assessments, energy audits, or a related field. Strong understanding of energy efficiency principles and retrofitting techniques. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey complex information clearly to clients. Familiarity with relevant legislation and standards in energy efficiency is advantageous. A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on cost control measures. Relevant qualifications or certifications in energy assessment or sustainability will be considered an asset.

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
