About Us
We are an innovative leader in sustainable construction and property management, dedicated to reducing carbon emissions and supporting communities in their journey toward Net Zero. Our portfolio includes a diverse array of residential properties. We pride ourselves on embracing new technologies and methodologies to deliver exceptional retrofit projects that enhance energy efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the quality of life for building occupants.
The Role: Retrofit Coordinator
As a Retrofit Coordinator, you will take responsibility for managing and delivering end-to-end retrofit projects in line with PAS 2035 standards and other relevant industry frameworks. Working closely with clients, contractors, designers, and building users, you will ensure that every project achieves its energy performance goals while staying on time and within budget.
You will be the cornerstone of our retrofit delivery team, overseeing everything from initial assessment and planning to installation, quality assurance, and post-retrofit evaluation. This is a pivotal role for anyone looking to make a tangible impact on the sustainability of our built environment.
Key Responsibilities
Project Management: Plan, coordinate, and deliver retrofit projects from inception to completion, ensuring compliance with PAS 2035 and relevant regulations.
Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with clients, contractors, residents, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure clear communication and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
Retrofit Assessment: Undertake or oversee whole-house assessments, identifying improvement measures and preparing comprehensive retrofit strategies.
Quality Assurance: Carry out regular site visits, inspections, and audits to verify that work meets required standards and is completed to the highest quality.
Compliance & Reporting: Maintain detailed project records and produce reports for clients and regulatory bodies as required.
Continuous Improvement: Review project outcomes and contribute to the development of best practices for future retrofits.
Person Specification
We are seeking a proactive, organised, and knowledgeable Retrofit Coordinator who is ready to step up and play a key role in the UK's transition to a low-carbon future. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
Qualifications: Level 5 diploma in retrofit coordination and risk assessment.
Ideally hold level 3 in retro fit assessment.
Level 3 in domestic energy assessment.
Experience: Track record of managing building retrofit, refurbishment, or energy efficiency projects. Experience working within the PAS 2035 framework is a strong advantage.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of building physics, energy performance, and retrofit measures (e.g., insulation, heating upgrades, ventilation improvements, renewables integration).
Project Management Skills: Highly organised, able to manage multiple projects and deadlines, and skilled in project planning, budget management, and resource allocation.
Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to guide, inform, and inspire a wide range of audiences, from contractors to residents.
Problem-Solving: Ability to identify barriers, propose practical solutions, and adapt to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
IT Literacy: Competence in project management software, MS Office, and digital reporting tools.
Commitment: Passion for sustainability, energy efficiency, and making a positive difference in the built environment.
What We Offer
Joining our team as a Retrofit Coordinator means more than just a job--it's an opportunity to shape the future of sustainable construction. We offer:
Competitive Salary: Reflective of experience and qualifications
Professional Development: Ongoing training, support in achieving PAS 2035 accreditation, and opportunities to attend industry events and conferences
Flexible Working: Hybrid working arrangements to support work-life balance
Inclusive Culture: A welcoming, collaborative environment that values diversity, innovation, and continuous improvement
Career Progression: Clear pathways to advance within the organisation as we continue to grow.
The UK's retrofit sector is undergoing rapid transformation, driven by government policy, climate commitments, and the urgent need to decarbonise existing building stock. The Retrofit Coordinator is a crucial role created as part of the PAS 2035 standard, which sets out a robust, whole-house approach to energy efficiency improvements. As a Retrofit Coordinator, you'll be working at the heart of the green transition, ensuring that every intervention leads to real, measurable benefits for people and the planet.
