We are seeking a Retrofit/Net Zero Surveyor to join our Housing Assets department who are responsible for delivering high quality and cost-effective planned works, repairs, compliance and decarbonisation improvements to our housing stock.

As a Retrofit/Net Zero Surveyor, you will be responsible for delivering quality surveying, taking a key role in achieving the Council's Net Zero Carbon targets, including all matters concerning resident engagement and liaison, project planning, specification, design, procurement, contractor management and regulatory requirements within the Retrofit/Net Zero Team on the Councils Housing stock.
You will undertake surveys and produce reports, relating to the required carbon reduction measures for dwellings, that will contribute to budgetary decisions and future programming. In addition, you will be required to assess and ascertain the age and lifetime of key building components (e.g. roof, windows, kitchens and bathrooms) and assess the property condition, safety and energy performance.
