Returnable Assets Manager

to join our dynamic logistics team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

About the Role:

As Returnable Assets Manager, you will lead a team of asset repatriation agents and take full ownership of Muller's returnable assets strategy. Your mission: reduce asset losses, enhance operational efficiency, and drive cost-saving initiatives across our UK network.

Key Responsibilities:

Analyse and report on asset stock levels, losses, and trends Lead depot asset reviews and implement improvement plans Deliver training on trolley and pallet control across all sites Manage procurement and logistics of annual asset purchases Ensure legal compliance of LGV operations and driver standards Build relationships with internal teams, suppliers, and competitors Present KPIs and progress updates to senior leadership Support legal action against misuse of Muller property

People Leadership:

Directly manage and develop a team of asset repatriation agents Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear objectives Collaborate with site managers and shop floor teams to improve asset handling

Skills & Experience:

Strong analytical and numerical skills Experience in logistics, asset management, or supply chain operations Confident decision-maker with a problem-solving mindset Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Willingness to travel and stay overnight as required
