The UK central warehouse in Shoreham-by-Sea, West Sussex, stocks a wide range of MEYLE car parts and ensures prompt delivery of parts throughout the United Kingdom. MEYLE UK attends trade fairs throughout the country with an experienced team of sales professionals on hand to answer questions about its products.

MEYLE UK unites the technology, know-how and quality of the German parent company with an excellent local service adapted to its customers' needs.

The Returns and Customer Service Representative role takes responsibility for the inbound customer returns and warranty process, in addition to providing cover and assistance to the wider Customer Service and Sales function.

What you'll be doing:



Responsibility of UK warranty and returns processes

Warranty claim and new unit returns administration

Advising customers on returns and warranty matters

Ownership of shared returns email inbox

Physical inspection of parts and stock checks

Booking collections and deliveries

Cooperation with MEYLE Technical Services Team, for claim reporting and stock inspection

Assisting the CS function when required - telephone and email enquiries

Help customers with stock and delivery enquiries

Part look-up and cross-referencing

Order entry, stock allocation, order tracking

Liaising with Operations team for delivery-related enquiries

Working closely with Operations Team for booking stock returns.

Arranging return of samples and recalled items back to MEYLE HQ

Scrapping (physical and on SAP) of faulty or dead stock

Onsite stock or part checks for time-critical enquiries

What you'll bring to the role:



Experience working in a customer facing role

Administrative experience

Ability to prioritise workload

Familiar with Microsoft Office

Computer literacy

Confident telephone manner

Maintain high levels of service

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal supervision once trained

Additional skills that are a plus but not required:



Abasic knowledge of vehicle parts

Knowledge of the motor spares market

Experience in using SAP software

Able to work flexible hours as required
