This is an exciting opportunity for a Revenue Controller to join a professional services company in Birmingham. The role requires a proactive individual to manage revenue processes within the accounting and finance department effectively.

• Partner with fee-earning teams to boost profitability, improve working capital, and encourage best financial practices.
• Lead monthly WIP reviews and ensure accurate billing forecasts.
• Maintain matters, including closing dormant accounts, write-offs, and aged balances.
• Reassign matters for leavers or inactive fee earners and improve data quality
• Monitor timesheet completion and share insights to drive timely submissions.
• Work with the wider finance team to develop KPIs that drive sustainable growth.
• Support debt ledger management alongside fee earners and Credit Control.
• Build strong relationships across the business and act as the go-to for financial queries.
• Assess financial risks and opportunities, and contribute to shaping the Revenue Controller strategy.
