We're offering a fantastic opportunity for someone with experience in Revenues or a related field, who's passionate about public service and eager to grow within a supportive and dynamic team.


This rewarding role offers hands-on experience in:


Supporting the Council's in-house enforcement agent service in the recovery of unpaid debts relating to Council Tax, Business Rates, Business Improvement Districts and parking fines. Applying knowledge of Enforcement Agent powers and Taking Control of Goods regulations Communicating with residents, businesses, and stakeholders to resolve queries and support fair collection Working independently and as part of a team to meet deadlines and priorities Using multiple systems and databases to manage and update customer records Supporting city-wide initiatives and contributing to service improvements
You'll bring strong communication and organisational skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work under pressure. Experience in a busy office environment and a willingness to learn and develop are key to success in this role.


Please note:



There is a requirement to answer incoming calls as part of our customer service commitment.


During peak periods (July to November), you'll be expected to answer phones throughout the day. Outside of peak times, phone duties are shared on a half-daily basis. Our phone lines operate Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
