As Arvato's Reverse Logistics Department Manager, you will lead one of the most critical areas of our warehouse operations, ensuring seamless inbound flows and stock availability for some of the world's most demanding global high-tech clients.
You will lead and develop your team to achieve operational excellence in a fast-paced, high-requirement environment. Our clients hold us to the highest standards of quality, service levels, and operational performance and you will play a key role in ensuring these expectations are consistently met or exceeded. In addition to daily operations, you will focus on strengthening team leadership, optimising processes & managing costs.
Your Tasks:
Lead and oversee all activities in your area of responsibility, ensuring compliance with strict quality & HSSE standards and agreed SLAs.
Monitor KPIs and operational data and communicate performance to internal and external stakeholders.
Proactively identify and escalate operational discrepancies or service risks to ensure quick resolution and client satisfaction.
Drive daily operational performance, continuously identifying and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Lead, develop, and coach the team, fostering a high-performance and customer-focused culture.
Ensure cost-effective operations and contribute to achieving the organization's operational margin and profitability targets.
Continuously improve team structures and processes to meet the dynamic requirements of a demanding high-tech environment.
Your Profile:
Proven experience in warehouse or logistics management, ideally in a multi-client, high-demand environment.
Hands-on experience working with SAP (or a comparable ERP system) in a warehouse or supply chain context.
Excellent leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage teams to achieve high levels of performance.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed demanding quality standards and service level agreements (SLAs).
Analytical mindset with strong skills in KPI monitoring, operational reporting, and cost management.
Confident communicator, able to effectively collaborate with clients, carriers, and internal stakeholders, and to escalate and resolve issues proactively.
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration or a related field preferred is desirable.
