What will you be doing?
We are seeking an enthusiastic, forward-thinking and self-motivated individual to join our Hardware Engineering team at DTC in Hampshire.
Ideal candidates will have experience in board-level and system-level RF electronics design.
You will be responsible for RF system and hardware designs from initial concept through requirements definition, architecture definition, part selection, detailed design, analysis, qualification testing, manufacturing, and in life support.
Hardware design tasks will include block diagrams, detailed schematics, PCB layout and routing, simulations, and design test.
DTC RF Engineers work on Transmitters, Power Amplifiers, Receivers, LNA, Filters, Software Defined Radios and Down converters.

This role requires candidates to undergo Security Screening to 'SC' level.
Successful Candidates Will Require
A degree or equivalent qualification in Electronics or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum of 4 years of industry experience in design and analysis of RF electronics and systems.
Proficient in professional simulation tools such as AWR, as well as EDA tools such as PADS.
Hands-on experience with lab instruments such as network analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and oscilloscopes.
Proven experience of design, simulation, prototyping, and testing of baseband, IF, and RF circuits
Expertise in schematic capture and PCB layout for multilayer RF designs.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Experience in the following areas would be highly advantageous
Receivers, Transmitters, Synthesizers, VCOs, low noise amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers and filters
Radio propagation, transceiver architecture, modulation schemes, antenna theory and radio/EMC compliance
Baseband digital design--such as FPGA integration, microprocessors, and interfaces including USB and Ethernet.
