We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team and support clients with complex needs such as spine and brain injuries.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and will demonstrate a thorough understanding of anatomy and medical procedures. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a crucial role in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Tracheostomy and ventilator competency are crucial for this role.
Duties
Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status, including vital signs and medical history.
Develop and implement individualised care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians while monitoring for side effects or complications.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment options, and preventative care measures.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in nursing.
Requirements
Valid registration as a nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).
Proven experience in patient care within a clinical setting is preferred.
Strong knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
A compassionate approach to patient care, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs.
