Duties

Lead your shift with positivity and effectiveness,fostering a warm and supportive environment for both residents and colleagues Assessing and promoting the needs of our elderly residents to enable our residents to live their best life. Create and follow person centred care plans to provide the holistic care needed. Embrace growth and learning, continuously evolving to provide the best possible care and support to our residents. Monitor residents' care and wellbeing and administer prescribed medicines and document in accordance with company and regulatory policies. You will possess excellent knowledge of person centred care and ensure respect and dignity is maintained at all times

Essential Criteria / Desirable Criteria

Hold a valid NMC registration Evidence of personal and professional development since registration Be able to demonstrate how to enable resident's to live their best lives Willingness to keep learning

Abilities / Skills

Ability to take responsibility to lead the shift Ability to build and maintain positive, professional working relationships Computer literate

Experience

Drive and commitment to provide high quality care and exceed expectations Experience of Dementia/End of Life care Experience working with an electronic care planning system, preferably PCS Experience in the development and implementation of person centered care planning
