Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Clinical Services team. This role will primarily be based within our Hospice at Home service but will also support other areas of clinical care, including Wellbeing Day Services, as required.

Hours of Work:
This is a part-time position (30 hours per week), working four days, Monday to Friday, from 8:30am to 4:30pm.

Salary

16.48 per hour
The role also includes evening and weekend telephone on-call duties, carried out from home. These responsibilities are shared equitably among qualified staff and are generously remunerated in addition to base salary.

Essential Criteria:

Registered General Nurse (RGN) qualification Minimum of 2 years post-registration experience, with a background in palliative and/or end-of-life care, an experience of long-term conditions. Applicants must be a vehicle owner with a full UK driving licence and business use car insurance, as travel throughout the Rossendale Valley is a vital part of the role.
Desirable Experience:

Experience in community nursing Experience in the supervision, training, or mentoring of unregistered staff A formal qualification in Palliative Care, End-of-Life Care, or Long-Term Conditions (preferred but not essential). A commitment to working towards this qualification while in post is required.
