Summary

As a Flamingo land Engineer/Fitter you will install, maintain and repair Flamingo Land's ride and attractions

Responsibilities will include

Ride / attraction inspections Ride / attraction maintenance Fault finding / diagnosis Replacing mechanical components Replacing pneumatic/hydraulic components Replacing (plug-in) pressure sensors/prox sensors/switches Mounting/fitting photo limit sensors/switches Slip rings/rails/brush gear maintenance Parts requisition and replacement Following risk assessments and method statements Understanding hydraulic and pneumatic schematics Carrying out lifting operations Maintaining a high level of cleanliness Maintaining a high level of safety to yourself and others around you
You will follow engineering instructions and use relevant approved diagrams when working on rides and attractions. You will also use a range of tools to calibrate, adjust, inspect and test equipment and machinery to make sure they are working correctly and safely.
