Overview
Reporting to the Operations Manager the Rigging Prep Technician works as part of the warehouse team to ensure the successful preparation, delivery, and return of rigging equipment for all KRS projects. The role supports the smooth and efficient operation of the rigging department within the KRS warehouse, maintaining high equipment and service standards.
Main Responsibilities
Hands-on preparation of equipment--primarily rigging but also supporting other warehouse divisions.
Checking in equipment returned from productions and hires.
Ensuring all equipment is functional, clean, well-maintained, and compliant with KRS standards.
General servicing, maintenance, and minor repairs of rigging and technical equipment (PAT testing advantageous but not essential).
Unloading deliveries and checking inbound equipment for defects.
Loading prepared equipment onto vehicles.
Storing equipment accurately and safely in designated locations.
Maintaining accurate stock and equipment records in the CRMS system.
Operating a forklift truck and other plant such as trolleys for moving goods.
Monitoring equipment quality and reporting issues.
Completing stock checks and reporting discrepancies.
Upholding all health, safety, and hygiene standards.
Keeping the warehouse clean, organised, and safe at all times.
Remaining flexible to support wider team and business needs.
Participating in training and development to enhance skills and service delivery.
Adhering to KRS Health & Safety and Quality policies.
Contributing to team success and supporting company goals.

Contract and Working Conditions
Permanent full-time position within KRS Group
Six -month probation period
Full-time role with weekend work required as dictated by project/client schedules
Standard hours: 08:00-17:00 with a one-hour lunch break
Must have full clean driving licence and the ability to legally drive a 7.5T would be advantageous.
Holiday entitlement: 20 days per annum plus statutory public holidays. Incremental increases per year
