About the Role
We are seeking a strategic and commercially-driven professional to lead digital licensing revenue growth across our Education division. This role will focus on identifying and securing new digital licensing opportunities, aligning them with divisional goals, and working with key licensing partners across global markets. The successful candidate will promote OUP's educational offerings, build a strong sales pipeline through proactive outreach, and manage key accounts to maximize financial return and content reach. They will also support the Rights Director in shaping long-term rights strategy and goals.
The role requires a deep understanding of market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to inform licensing strategy and operational initiatives. Working cross-functionally with internal teams, the candidate will ensure strategic alignment across digital licensing, distribution, print rights, and product development. Strong communication, industry insight, and operational rigor are essential, along with the ability to influence and collaborate across departments. We operate a hybrid working policy that requires a minimum of 2 days per week in the Oxford office.
