The Risk Executive position presents an exceptional opportunity to gain business-wide insight and to provide advice and solutions across a variety of regulatory and compliance areas. The Risk function plays a pivotal role within Bishop Fleming to underpin the business and maintain regulatory and quality standards as it carries out its strategic growth.
As a Risk Executive you will be involved in varied and significant responsibilities. The role involves operating across a range of different topics and applying analytical and problem-solving skills daily.
The Risk Executive is a key member of our inclusive and supportive central Risk team.
Key responsibilities will include:
Compliance, assurance and ICAEW regulation in a growing accountancy firm
Compiling reviews and reports for the board
Regulatory compliance
Financial crime management such as anti-money laundering (AML)
Professional indemnity insurances support
Risk management and business continuity activities
Client onboarding risk assessments
Data privacy and data protection
Project management and stakeholder reporting (e.g. procurement projects, offboarding)
Delivering risk insights and responding to cases as they are presented
