Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our client. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to individuals experiencing mental health challenges. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans that promote recovery and well-being. Your ability to communicate effectively and demonstrate leadership will be essential in supporting patients through their journey.

Duties

Assess patients' mental health needs and develop individualised care plans. Provide direct nursing care, including administering medication and monitoring patient progress. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Facilitate group therapy sessions and support activities that promote mental wellness. Maintain accurate patient records using IT systems, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulations. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in mental health nursing. Lead by example, fostering a supportive environment for both patients and colleagues.

Experience

A valid registration as a Mental Health Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC). Previous experience in a mental health setting is desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations. Proficiency in using IT systems for documentation and patient management. Demonstrated leadership qualities, with the ability to inspire and motivate others within the team.

Pay: 35,000.00-44,538.10 per year
