What you'll do:
Assist in undertaking inspections of highway and footway road markings to produce an annual maintenance programme of Lining renewal works in line with the Highways Network Management Plan (HNMP) priorities.
Assist in conducting a traffic management assessment to ensure the correct temporary traffic management is procured.
Assist with monitoring costs and informing line manager of spend in relation to budgets associated with task orders issued to the team for road markings work.
Investigate and respond to queries and complaints in writing or over the phone from stakeholders.
Input data in Via specific IT systems and spreadsheets to support performance management and reporting.
Monitor and audit the performance of framework sub-contractors including delivering safety briefings and undertaking site inspections to ensure they adhere to the relevant processes to maintain SHEQ compliance.
What we're seeking:
New Roads and Street Works Act (NRSWA) qualified or equivalent knowledge gained through practical experience in a highways or construction environment.
Proven ability to plan and prioritise workload.
Strong ICT skills with experience of using Microsoft Excel, email and the internet.
Experience of providing information to, and dealing with, internal and external stakeholders in person, via email and over the phone.
Full UK driving licence.
