Road Sweeper Driver Hgv
Job Description
This job requires you to have a HGV Class 2, and be comfortable driving with a manual gearbox. We provide Road Sweeper training.
Salary is 39k.
Hours are typically 7am-5pm Monday to Friday with this varying in the Dry and Wet months due to demand. There is a Saturday Rota that has you working roughly 1 of every 8 Saturdays, again this can vary due to demand in the wet months. We pay overtime, and also offer night work and Sunday work which is voluntary, however we do pay a higher hourly rate for this.
Responsibilities would be to Sweep building sites in Milton Keynes, Northampton, Bedfordshire and other surrounding areas.
Work is given to you every evening for the following day.
We need someone who is punctual and reliable as we have to be at sites at specific times.
The successful candidates will be assigned their own vehicle that they will need to keep clean and presentable.
