Fidela Coffee Roasters is a quality-driven coffee roastery and coffee bar located on the North Coast of Ireland, in Coleraine. We've been exporting green coffee since 2016 and roasting in-house since March 2020. Rooted in direct trade and transparency, our work is built on close relationships at origin and a commitment to excellence from farm to cup.
We are now seeking a Production Roaster / Roastery Assistant to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in the coffee industry and a passion for coffee quality, who can take initiative and contribute meaningfully to a small but fast-evolving operation.

Key Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in the roasting of coffee, including green coffee weighing, roast profiling, and post-roast quality checks
Monitor and maintain high standards for quality, consistency, and traceability
Pack and label coffee for wholesale, retail, and online customers
Manage and fulfil online orders and subscription services
Maintain accurate stock inventories for green and roasted coffee, packaging, and supplies
Participate in cuppings and quality control sessions
Keep roasting and production areas clean, organised, and safe
Maintain production equipment, reporting faults and coordinating repairs where needed
Support the wider team where required, including public tastings, training, or bar shifts on occasion
Qualifications & Skills
Previous experience in coffee roasting or specialty coffee production preferred
A solid understanding of the specialty coffee supply chain and roasting process
Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Self-motivated and capable of working independently and as part of a team
Comfortable with physical work, including lifting and manual handling
Computer literate; familiarity with roast logging or inventory software a plus
Full UK (or transferable) driving licence preferred
