Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test robotic systems, automation tools, or autonomous platforms. Develop control algorithms for motion planning, perception, and behavior execution. Program robotic components using

Python

,

C++

,

ROS/ROS2

, and other relevant tools. Integrate sensors, actuators, and embedded controllers for hardware-software interaction. Build and maintain simulation environments (Gazebo, Webots, RViz, Isaac Sim, MATLAB/Simulink). Collaborate cross-functionally with mechanical, electrical, and software teams to deliver complete robotic solutions. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware/software issues during development and deployment. Assist in documentation, requirement specifications, testing protocols, and validation procedures. Participate in research, prototyping, and continuous improvement of robotic products and technologies.

Required Qualifications

Must have the Right to Work in the UK. Strong understanding of robotics fundamentals: kinematics, dynamics, control theory. Experience with at least one major programming language (Python, C++, MATLAB). Familiarity with

ROS/ROS2

or similar robotics middleware. Understanding of sensors (LiDAR, cameras, IMUs) and actuator systems. Ability to analyze, troubleshoot, and solve complex engineering problems.
