Role Overview



The

Robotics Engineer

will be responsible for the design, integration, testing, and optimisation of robotic systems. You will work across hardware and software, contributing to mechanical design, control algorithms, autonomy, perception, and system testing.

This is a hands-on engineering role, working with cutting-edge robotics technologies.

Key Responsibilities



As a Robotics Engineer, you will:

Design, build, and test robotic systems, components, and prototypes. Develop control algorithms and motion planning for robotic arms, mobile robots, AGVs, AMRs, or autonomous systems. Implement perception and computer vision solutions using sensors (LiDAR, RGB-D, cameras, IMUs). Integrate hardware and software components into fully functioning robotic systems. Work with ROS/ROS2 to develop robotic behaviours and communication frameworks. Conduct simulations, modelling, and system validation using tools such as Gazebo, MATLAB, or Isaac Sim. Optimise robot performance, stability, and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, electrical, AI/ML, and software engineers. Document requirements, architecture, and testing protocols. Support deployment, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of robotic solutions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 52,245.70-87,534.82 per year
