The Role
Interested in working with robots?
This exciting role works with the repair, maintenance and installation of one of the latest innovations in groundcare technology, robotic mowers.
Ideal for someone looking to learn a new trade, this role is a mixture of on-site installation as well as maintenance and repair performed in our depot in Forfar, working both independently and as part of our workshop.
Previous experience, electrical or engineering knowledge, is not required as full training will be provided. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate problem-solving and is enthusiastic about learning a new skill.
Other duties include assembly and operation of equipment as well as monitoring inventory in the installation van when it has been taken out on-site.
Robotics is the fastest-growing part of our business. We are currently developing a team dedicated to the sales and servicing of robotic mowers, so if you would like to be part of an exciting new and growing sector with career progression opportunities, then apply today.
A day in the life - What to expect.
Being a robotic mower installer and repairer means you are presented with something different every day. The day could start in our depot performing repairs and maintenance, updates, blade replacements and diagnostics. By the afternoon, you may have an installation scheduled where you drive to the customer's garden and unbox, install and test a new robotic mower as well as showing the customer how to use the features of the machine. On the way back to the depot, you may have a few stops to make, collecting mowers for servicing or repair or even dropping by for a quick repair.
This role features technical aspects which require diagnostic and practical skills, but you don't need electronics or engineering experience to be successful in this role. Good customer service skills, attention to detail and good computer skills are all aspects we would be looking for in the ideal candidate for this role.
