Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Fitter to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and installing mechanical equipment, ensuring operational efficiency and safety. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a strong mechanical background and experience in commercial driving, particularly those familiar with fitting roller shutters and shopfronts . The Fitter will play a vital part in supporting our ongoing projects and maintenance activities, contributing to the smooth running of our operations.

Duties

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment Install, assemble, and repair machinery, including roller shutters and other produ Operate commercial vehicles to transport tools, parts, or equipment to various sites Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs or adjustments Assist in the mobilisation and demobilisation of machinery on-site Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely

Experience

Proven experience as a Fitter or in a similar mechanical role Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including window fitters Experience operating exca or other heavy plant machinery is highly desirable Valid commercial driving licence is essenti Ability to read technical drawings, manuals, and schematics Prior experience working on construction sites or industrial environments is advantageous

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 12.48-25.00 per hour
