Trainee Gate & Roller Shutter Engineer - Full Time

Based from Rayleigh | Covering Essex, Kent, Hertfordshire & London

Are you practical, hands-on and keen to learn a skilled trade?
We're looking for a

Trainee Gate and Roller Shutter Engineer

to join our friendly team in

Rayleigh

.

You'll begin by working alongside one of our

experienced senior engineers

, assisting with

installations, maintenance and repairs

to automated gates and roller shutters across customer sites. As your confidence and skills grow, you'll progress to carrying out

maintenance visits and basic repairs

independently - with a

company van provided

for travel.

Please note:

This is a

physically demanding role

, requiring lifting, moving equipment, and working on-site.

What We're Looking For:

A

clean full UK driving licence

(essential)

Previous experience in another trade

(e.g., electrical, mechanical, construction) - preferred but not essential*
A genuine interest in learning new technical skills A positive, reliable attitude and willingness to work as part of a team Good communication skills, honest, trustworthy and a professional approach
