We are seeking a skilled Roofing Sheeter and Cladder to join our team working in and around Glasgow and also on sites in Edinburgh and Glenrothes. The ideal candidate will have experience in working with various roofing materials and possess a strong understanding of construction processes. This role involves the installation, maintenance, and repair of roofing systems, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.
Responsibilities
Install roofing sheets and cladding materials according to specifications and schematics.
Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening materials.
Have own tools to carry out work.
Perform heavy lifting as required during the installation process.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on-site.
Conduct regular inspections of completed work to ensure quality and compliance with safety regulations.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
Qualifications
Proven experience in roofing, cladding, or a related construction field is preferred.
Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks.
Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
Own transport is preferred but not essential.
