Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roof Sheeter & Cladder to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in working with various materials and tools, demonstrating mechanical knowledge and the ability to fabricate, assemble, and install roofing sheets and cladding systems. This role requires physical stamina for heavy lifting and the use of both hand and power tools in a warehouse environment.

Duties

Fabricate, assemble, and install roofing sheets and cladding systems according to specifications. Operate hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently to complete tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and equipment. Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards. Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring tools and materials are stored correctly. Collaborate with team members to achieve project goals within deadlines. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the installation process, applying mechanical knowledge to resolve them effectively.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar role or relevant field is preferred. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools is essential. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand technical drawings and specifications. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday. Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to quality workmanship. Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
