Responsibilities
- Construct and repair roofs using a variety of materials
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to determine the layout of roofs
- Fabricate and install roofing materials such as tiles, shingles, or metal sheets
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery for roof installation
- Perform carpentry work for roof framing and structure
- Conduct welding and masonry work as needed for roof construction
- Ensure roofs are watertight and meet quality standards
Skills
- Proficient in roof building techniques and materials
- Ability to interpret schematics and blueprints
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting
- Knowledge of carpentry, welding, and masonry for roof construction
- Strong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
