- Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial buildings
- Remove old roofing materials and prepare surfaces for new materials
- Measure and cut roofing materials to fit specific dimensions
- Install insulation and vapor barriers
- Apply waterproofing materials to prevent leaks
- Repair or replace damaged roof components
- Clean and maintain work area

- Proficient in masonry, carpentry, and roofing techniques
- Ability to weld, build, plumb, and fabricate roof structures
- Experience with heavy lifting and working at heights
- Familiarity with power tools and hand tools used in roofing
- Knowledge of safety procedures and precautions related to roofing work

As a Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various types of buildings. You will work with a team to ensure that roofs are structurally sound, weatherproof, and aesthetically pleasing. Your skills in masonry, carpentry, roof installation, welding, building, plumbing, and fabrication will be essential in carrying out your duties.
