We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role requires a strong understanding of roofing techniques, safety procedures, and the ability to work at heights. Duties

Install new roofing systems using various materials such as tiles, shingles, and metal sheets Repair and replace damaged or worn roofing components to ensure weatherproofing and structural integrity Interpret schematics and technical drawings to accurately execute roofing projects Operate power tools, hand tools, and specialised fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Perform welding and other fabrication tasks as required for customised roofing solutions Assist with masonry, carpentry, plumbing, and other construction-related tasks associated with roofing projects Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate installation and repairs Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company standards Maintain a clean and organised work site throughout each project phase

Experience

Proven experience in roofing or related construction trades is essential Knowledge of schematics, welding, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and fabrication techniques is highly desirable Familiarity with the use of hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment Ability to read technical drawings and schematics accurately Experience working at heights and in outdoor environments under varying weather conditions Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working on scaffolding

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 128.00-140.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
