Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in roofing, carpentry, and masonry, with the ability to fabricate and weld as needed. This role requires proficiency in reading schematics and using both hand and power tools. The successful applicant will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining roofs on various structures while ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using various materials such as shingles, tiles, and metal. Read and interpret schematics to determine project specifications. Fabricate roofing components as required for specific projects. Perform masonry work as needed for roof installations. Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete roofing tasks. Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow on job sites. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while performing heavy lifting and working at heights.

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing or a related field such as carpentry or masonry. Ability to read schematics and technical drawings accurately. Proficient in the use of hand tools and power tools relevant to roofing tasks. Strong physical stamina with the capability of heavy lifting (up to 50 kg). Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A valid driver's licence is preferred for transportation to job sites.
