Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Roofer to join our Solar InstallatIons Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining Solar PV roofing systems on a variety of building types. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects, utilise a range of tools and techniques, and contribute to high-quality construction standards. Applicants should have a strong background in roofing and related trades, with a focus on safety, precision, and efficiency.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret schematics, technical drawings, and blueprints to determine roofing specifications and layouts. Install Solar PV systems roofs using appropriate materials Repair or replace existing roofing structures, ensuring durability and weather resistance. Operate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively during installation and repair tasks. Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to ensure efficient workflow on-site. Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Maintain a clean and organised work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to complete projects within deadlines.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or construction trades is essential. Experience of Installing Solar PV systems. Knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to roofing systems. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools. Strong understanding of construction principles Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Good physical fitness with the ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Pay: 22.00-27.00 per hour
