Duties

Install roofing systems using materials such as shingles, metal, or tiles according to schematics and specifications. Perform repairs on existing roofs, ensuring that all work meets industry standards and safety regulations. Utilise hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, shaping, and fastening roofing materials. Conduct inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to deadlines. Engage in heavy lifting as required during the installation and repair processes. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following proper safety protocols.

Qualifications

Proven experience in roofing or construction is essential. Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings is highly desirable. Skills in welding, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and fabrication are advantageous. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights without fear. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Pay: 150.00-180.00 per day
