Job Summary

We are seeking a

skilled roofer or construction professional with roofing experience

to join our team. The successful candidate will be capable of independently completing set roofing tasks while supporting various building and renovation projects. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to contribute their expertise, work safely and efficiently, and develop further skills in a dynamic construction environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, initiative, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Prepare and organise roofing work sites, including clearing debris and ensuring safety barriers are in place. Install, repair, and maintain roofing materials and systems in accordance with project specifications. Safely use hand tools, power tools, and specialised roofing equipment to complete tasks. Perform heavy lifting of roofing materials and related supplies as required. Work independently on assigned roofing tasks while maintaining quality and efficiency standards. Assist with related construction activities such as carpentry, flashing installation, or minor structural adjustments when needed. Read and interpret basic schematics, technical drawings, and manufacturer specifications relevant to roofing. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations. Collaborate with team members where required to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
Qualifications

Prior experience in roofing is essential; experience in broader construction trades is advantageous. Ability to complete tasks independently, with minimal supervision, while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Knowledge of roofing systems, tools, and materials, including installation and repair techniques. Physical strength and stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and working at height. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Understanding of health and safety regulations; relevant certifications are a plus but not mandatory. Willingness to adapt to different roles on-site as needed while primarily focusing on roofing tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 100.00-160.00 per day
