Responsibilities

Install, repair, and maintain roofing systems using hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and roofing plans to execute precise installations Measure, cut, fabricate, and assemble roofing materials including metal, tile, stucco, and membrane systems Perform demolition and restoration work on existing roofs with attention to detail and safety standards Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications Assist with construction estimating by assessing materials needed for roofing projects Coordinate with team members on scaffolding setup, framing, carpentry, masonry, plumbing, and other related trades to ensure seamless project flow

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing installation and repair within a construction site environment Skilled in using hand tools such as caulking guns, hammers, chisels; power tools including drills and saws; heavy lifting equipment Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and schematics related to roofing systems and structural framing Knowledge of construction estimating processes for material procurement and project planning Familiarity with various construction trades such as carpentry (trim carpentry, frame carpentry), masonry (masonry work), welding (metal fabrication), plumbing (for roof drainage systems), and restoration techniques Experience working on construction sites with adherence to safety protocols and OSHA standards Physical strength for heavy lifting and working at heights; comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions Additional skills such as tile laying, metal stud framing, stucco application, or handyman experience are a plus
