We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of roofing systems and possess the ability to work with various materials. This role requires physical stamina and the capability to perform heavy lifting, as well as proficiency in using power tools and other equipment necessary for roofing tasks.
Duties
Install, repair, and maintain roofs on residential and commercial properties.
Work with various roofing materials, including pitch, and flat roofing systems.
Fabricate and assemble roofing components as needed.
Perform heavy lifting and manoeuvre materials safely on-site.
Read and interpret plans to ensure accurate installation of roofing systems.
Collaborate with other tradespeople, including carpenters and masons, to complete projects efficiently.
Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
Conduct regular inspections of roofs to identify potential issues or necessary repairs.
Experience
Previous experience in roofing or a related field is essential.
Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and safety practices is required.
Proficiency in using power tools and equipment relevant to roofing tasks is necessary.
Ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions while maintaining a high level of safety awareness.
